We always seem to hold our breath as we near the end of the path and peek around the corner to see if any sightseers are crowding around. That’s a sure sign that there’s a monk resting on the sand.

There are multiple secret beaches on Oahu. Actually, there are multiple secret beaches just within the resort area of Ko Olina. None of them are secrets anymore.

I was deployed as a Red Cross Intake Worker. That basically means that I was the first person to meet with clients and determine how the Red Cross could be of assistance.

Paradise Cove is a magical mix of sand, sea, and sky. It is a natural lagoon with crystal clear water. The beach is protected by a natural reef barrier, so the water is calm and relatively shallow.
