We always seem to hold our breath as we near the end of the path and peek around the corner to see if any sightseers are crowding around. That’s a sure sign that there’s a monk resting on the sand.

Paradise Cove is a magical mix of sand, sea, and sky. It is a natural lagoon with crystal clear water. The beach is protected by a natural reef barrier, so the water is calm and relatively shallow.

There was a sign on the front window advertising milk foot water, free snacks, and hot tea. I had no idea what “milk foot water” was, but I was intrigued.
